Zoom : International Arbitration (2 credits) This course provides an introduction to international commercial arbitration, which is the basic method for settling international disputes. The course will deal with internationalist elements of arbitration and examine international commercial arbitration from an American perspective. Students will review foreign and US commentaries, statutes and case law. The course provides an introduction to international commercial arbitration, the arbitration agreement, the selection and roles of arbitrators, the arbitration procedure; and the arbitration award.
