International Internships Internships of three weeks (1 credit), five weeks (2 credits), and seven weeks (3 credits) are available within the context of the LL.M. program. The assignments are not remunerated and are with law firms doing crossborder work in Europe, Latin America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. An internship may not be served in the home country of the intern. Normal tuition rates of $330 per credit apply. To be eligible to apply, a candidate must have completed at least one residential session (Vienna, Budapest, or Warsaw), have achieved a strong academic record in the program, and have a good command of English and/or the language of country of the internship assignment. Internships are evaluated on a pass/fail basis. The Center for International Legal Studies has conducted the international internship program for more than 30 years. Interns have been placed in Argentina, Australia, Austria, Barbados, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico , New Zealand, Peru, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, Singapore , South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, The Philippines, United Arab Emirates, Venezuela, and Vietnam.
